Michael Edward Bailey

     Michael Edward Bailey, known as Mike, was born in Pittsburgh, PA.  He grew up in Esplen and later his family moved to Broadhead Manor.  Mike was known for being THE goalie for the Broadhead Blackhawks Hockey team, he graduated from Langley High School where he played football and played the tuba in the band. Also, he had mechanic skills.  Mike was a jokester at heart, but most important to him was the love he had for his big brother (BOVU).  Mike's parents Berkley and Qwenita Bailey preceded him in death as well as his brother, Berkley (Bucky) Bailey; a niece, Olivia Okenchi; he leaves to mourn his sons, Christopher Banks and Marcel Yelverton; two loving sisters, Carla Berkley and Pearle "Lonnie" Bailey; his aunt Betty; uncle Jerry Jones; nephews, Berkley Bailey, Brandon Bailey, and Trey Bailey; nieces, Tierra Bailey and Faith Okenchi; he also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends.  Viewing: Monday, January 29, 2024 from 1:30 -3 p.m. with service starting at 3 p.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 22 Sampsonia Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15212  Bishop Karl Jackson, officiating.
