James H. White, Sr.

     James H. White, Sr. was born in Braddock, PA on October 3, 1947 to Harrison B. White and Lillian M. White.  James was also known by Jimmy, Big Jim, and Big Fella.  James departed from us October 10, 2023, one week after he just celebrated his 76th birthday.  James attended General Braddock High School, he was a member of the Dapper Dan Basketball team, he attended Robert Morris College where he received an Alumni award for Basketball. He was an educator and worked for a few schools and had worked other jobs and trades.  James loved his family and friends and attended church services until he was no longer able to.  James was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald B. White, Sr. who departed a month ago.  He leaves behind his children, Toi M. White, James H. (Rochelle) White, Jr., Tia Y. White, Aleta D. (Tristan) Geletko, Sterling M. White, and Paris M. White; brother, Vincent D. (Arelene) White, Sr.; with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  James will definitely be missed and now he is shooting hoops with his loved ones above.  No more pain, only Heaven to gain.  Viewing:  Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 4 p.m. with service starting at 5 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 601 4th Street, Braddock, PA 15104 Funeral home number 724-379-5420.
