Delores Ann Davis

     Delores Ann Davis, 62 of Washington, PA, departed this life on Saturday July 15, 2023 in Washington Hospital.  she was born September 29, 1960, the daughter of Betty Gipson and the late Martin Willis, Sr.  Delores graduated from Beth Center High School in 1978, she was married to the father of her three children, she went on to school to get her CNA license and worked as a certified CNA for a few years, she was employed by Silver Star Meats, and worked several other jobs throughout the years.  Delores loved her children and grandchildren with every fiber of her being.  She was truly the life of every party, and party she did.  She was always on the move, even as kids when we were growing up, there are several pictures where all of us kids are present except Delores, and that's how she lived her life, always on the move, and living life on the edge.

     Delores is preceded in death by her father, Martin Willis, Sr. and brother, Kenneth Willis.  She is survived by her children:  Demitrius (Carrie) Davis, Ulysses (Danielle) Davis, Edwena (Justin) Whipkey; grandchildren, Diari, Cyerabela, Ulysses Jr., Drake, Jada, DeSean, Mia, Ava; one great-grandchild, ZaKai; beloved mother, Betty (Zebie) Gipson; sister, Ava (Eric); brothers, Kevin (Sandra), Martin Jr., Hosea (Michelle), Aaron (Melinda); her sister from another mother and best friend, Regina Brown; a host of other relatives and friends.

     Viewing:  Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10 am - 12 noon, with funeral service starting at 12 noon, at Friendship Baptist Church, 17 E. Walnut, Washington, PA, Rev. Melvin Rippy is Pastor, Rev. Richard D. White will give eulogy, funeral home number- 724-379-5420.
