Brentt Jones
Obituary
Brentt Jones, 39, slipped away from his family and friends, on August 7, 2023. He will always be remembered fondly as a football star, running back and linebacker, #32, for the Monessen Greyhounds. He graduated from Monessen High School, the class of 2002. He was an all-around football player who loved hanging out with his brothers.
Brentt is survived by his mother, Beverly Edwards Byrd and father, Anzalone "Zek" Jones; brothers, Brad Jones, Christopher Byrd, Christian Byrd, and Jamar Byrd; sisters, Ashley Byrd-Bobin and Bella Byrd; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Brentt will be sadly missed.
Viewing: Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Avenue, Monessen, with celebration of life service on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 11 am, Bishop Karl Jackson, officiating. funeral home number 724-379-5420.
